Thank you for visiting our website!
At Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church, we are "a growing family of Christ's followers." We're an unlikely mix of people, whom only God would put together and love. Some of us have known Jesus all our lives while others are new to their faith. The one thing that we have in common, is that we're following Jesus. As we follow Him, we share life's pleasures and pains; joys and sorrows; hopes and disappointments. We have learned that relationships are more valuable than religion; that a little compassion overcomes a world of hurt; and that grace always flows downhill. Jesus's call to us is pointed, direct, and commanding: "Come, follow me!" (Matthew 4:19) I invite you to join us in the journey! Come see what He is doing at Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church, "a growing family of Christ's followers."
Warmly in Christ,
Pastor Davidson

On Sunday May 20, we will conclude the short sermon series on the post-resurrection appearances of Jesus Christ. This sixth message will be about the Lord's appearance to the disciples on the Mount of Olives, followed by his glorious Ascension-- "ENCOUNTERING THE RISEN LORD... On the Mount of Olives". Rev. Allen Wallace will be guest preacher for the morning.
We will also have Mr. Fletcher Sims representing the ministry of the Gideons. A retiring offering will be taken.
If you’re shopping around for a new Bible, I highly recommend the ESV Reformation Study Bible.

The ESV Reformation Study Bible combines the quality of the English Standard Version translation of Holy Scripture with excellent book introductions, explanatory footnotes, and an extensive cross-referencing system, as well as theological notes from a distinctly reformed perspective.
A great daily devotional booklet to accompany your new Bible is the Explore quarterly.
http://www.thegoodbook.com/bible/daily-devotional-reading/explore
A year’s subscription is only $24. Explore provides solid Bible teaching from both the Old and New Testaments, at a suggested pace of around 15 minutes a day. For those of you with an iPhone, iPad, or Android, there is a free Explore app as well. The Bible teachers who write the curriculum for Explore do so from a consistently reformed perspective. (Explore comes from the same folk who produced the Christianity Explored course.)
