ACCOMPANIST

EMMY HENDERSON

Emmy is currently a student at UTC. She studied classical piano for the last 14 years and was apart of her high school praise band team. Emmy is especially thankful for the opportunity to accompany at LVPC where she is happy to finally be using her gifts in a church setting as a means of worshipping God.

Director of Music Ministries

CHRIS EPPERSON

When he's not directing LVPC's great chancel choir, Chris is either busy with his beautiful family or at work at Giant Steps Music.  Chris is a highly skilled choir director, vocalist, and trombonist as well. Under Chris's great leadership, the LVPC Chancel Choir continues to grow in both numbers and ability. Choir rehearsals are on Sunday nights at 5:00 (check the web-calendar for specific dates). Come to choir and be a part of something great!

Nursery Worker

AMANDA BEECHER

Amanda, a CNA with Hospice of Chattanooga throughout the week, faithfully serves as our Nursery & Pre-School Worker on Sunday mornings during Sunday School and worship. Amanda has a deep love for Jesus and for children which make her a great blessing to LVPC.

Administrative Assistant & Bookkeeper

Janet is a CPA who is now serving LVPC as bookkeeper and administrative assistant.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, especially travelling.

Senior Pastor

GRADY DAVIDSON

  Send Email

Grady and his wife, Becky, are the proud parents of two young adult daughters, Hannah and Lydia.  Grady's "life verse" is Habakkuk 2:14, "The Earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."  In his pastoral ministry, Grady strives to shine the knowledge of God's glory throughout Lookout Valley and beyond.

A BRIEF INTERVIEW WITH PASTOR GRADY

What is your favorite Scripture?
Habakkuk 2:14.  Check out the paragraph above!

What is your favorite television show?
LOST (every episode made perfect sense to me)

Other than the Bible, what is your favorite book?

Tough call!  At the top of my list I would place Graham Greene's The Power and the Glory (fiction), Martyn Lloyd-Jones' Preaching and Preachers (non-fiction), and Watchman Nee's Spiritual Authority (also non-fiction).

What are your primary spiritual gifts?

My primary ministry gift is teaching. But I jokingly say that I have the spiritual gift of "plodding": keeping up a long obedience to Christ in a single direction.

Who has had the most profound influence on your life (besides Jesus)?
My Mom & Dad

What drives you to be the person you are?
The grace of Jesus Christ.  "I am what I am by the grace of God" (1 Corinthians 15:10)

If you could spend an entire day with any one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Paul the Apostle, but preferably not his 24 hours in the open sea (2 Corinthians 11:25).

What issue in the world today is closest to your heart?
If I could mention two:  Muslim missions, and the plight of the persecuted Church.

If you could say one thing to the Body of Christ, what would it be?
Let's resolve to be a people not easily offended!  And let's pray together more.  God has blessings to pour out on the Church across our city, state, nation, and world, which He will only send when we become intentional about getting together to pray across denominational lines.
