EmailGrady and his wife, Becky, are the proud parents of two teenage daughters, Hannah and Lydia. Grady's "life verse" is Habakkuk 2:14, "The Earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." In his pastoral ministry, Grady strives to shine the knowledge of God's glory throughout Lookout Valley and beyond.

In your opinion, what is the best movie ever made?
Rocky (part 1). "Adrian's got gaps, I've got gaps. We help each other with our gaps." That quote says so much about a great marriage, which I am deeply blessed to enjoy myself.
If you could use one word to describe yourself what would it be?
Blessed
What is your favorite television show?
LOST (every episode made perfect sense to me)
Other than the Bible, what is your favorite book?
Tough call! At the top of my list I would place Graham Greene's The Power and the Glory (fiction), Martyn Lloyd-Jones' Preaching and Preachers (non-fiction), and Watchman Nee's Spiritual Authority (also non-fiction).
Who has had the most profound influence on your life (besides Jesus)?
My Mom & Dad
If you could speak any other language other than English what would it be and why?
Gaelic, so that I could live in the Highlands and order off the menu in the village pub. (Slainte!)
What drives you to be the person you are?
The grace of Jesus Christ. "I am what I am by the grace of God" (1 Corinthians 15:10)
What are your hobbies?
Working out at the YMCA, learning to play the mountain dulcimer, target shooting on the range
If you could spend an entire day with any one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Paul the Apostle, but preferable not his 24 hours in the open sea (2 Corinthians 11:25).
What issue in the world today is closest to your heart?
Muslim missions.

Let's resolve to be a people not easily offended!
When he's not directing LVPC's great chancel choir, Chris works for TransCard at USX. Chris is a highly skilled choir director, vocalist, and trombonist as well. Under Chris's great leadership, the LVPC Chancel Choir continues to grow in both numbers and ability. Choir rehearsals are on Sunday nights at 5:00 (check the web-calendar for specific dates). Emily, a 3rd grade teacher at Normal Park Elementary School, is also an accomplished pianist, organist, guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Emily's love for music and contagious joy shine through in every worship service at LVPC.

Who has had the most profound influence on your life (besides Jesus)?
My Mom has had the most influence in my life because she prays for our family and homeschooled me and my sisters.
If you could speak any other language other than English what would it be and why?
Definitely Spanish. Legend has it that my dad's grandfather was royalty in Spain, which would make me the royal heir.

God's spirit of LIFE and MERCY.

Running, being a Young Life leader, and playing music with my sisters.

What issue in the world today is closest to your heart?
People feeling forgotten, overloooked, or abandoned. Specifically in third world countries, but they are in every country, social class, school and family.

Amanda, a CNA with Hospice of Chattanooga throughout the week, faithfully serves as our Nursery & Pre-School Worker on Sunday mornings during Sunday School and worship. Amanda has a deep love for Jesus and for children which make her a great blessing to LVPC.
A retired Conoco executive, Kay keeps the LVPC financial books in top shape. She also handles dozens of other "behind the scenes" tasks to help Pastor Grady and to facilitate LVPC's ministries.
